They honestly are not great cigars, but I guess not horrible.  I forgot I do have a few Cohiba's left, but they are only the minis.  They are a very nice cigar though.

The one I had tonight was a Guantanamera Cristales, so I had a nice long sit outside, with both dogs curled up on my lap.

How does that one smoke? Good flavors? Those and the VS's have been on my "To Smoke" list for a long time now but I haven't gotten around to trying them yet.

I was a pipe smoker and didn't like cigars that much. I have a big box that I bought in Amsterdam during 2003 and it is still 2/3 full. I tried some from time to time though.

But I like pipe tobacco like aromatic cigars and I used to smoke Backwoods and Captain Black, usually during holidays and leisure time. Now you opened my appettite to try them again.

I had a scissors type of cigar cutter my wife bought for mme that was seizured by my daughter.

Ahhh... Good ole Backwoods.

They are both good tasting cigars.

I have a Cigar of the Month membership with them. I get 10 different cigars every month. I haven't had a bad one from them yet.

You just like aromatics? Have you tried any english blends? I love a good Lat bomb myself. Followed by a good Virginia blend.

Here's pic of my uncle's old Dr. Grabow Viking (along with my Schrade 8OT).

It's NOS...don't know if I'm going to try it or grab a cheap corncob pipe off ebay to try.

I may do nothing too... :D

That is a nice pipe!
Now use it. Seriously, use it. It is nice and broke in. A good pipe will damn near last forever if you take care of them.

HH Vintage Syrian or Peterson University Flake. Half and Half is not bad either for a starter. Not sure want would be a good aromatic. Never was much into them.

No problem. You will find the HH Vintage Syrian Blend is rather a complex smoke. The roomnote is kinda like a campfire. It is the best smoke out there I think. But I love english blends. And the more Latakia in it, the better.

The Vintage Syrian is a great blend. :tu: If you want to start off with a bit more simple blend, you can't go wrong with good old Prince Albert either......
