This is what I use, no longer but you get 300 for around 5 dollars at Wal-Mart, the pin on the right is the Vic original

I replaced my pin with one has a plastic ball on the end.  Much easier to take out and stays put.

One great use I've found for my Vic straight pin is changing Casio watch batteries. It's a little hard to explain but there's a little tab that can be easily lifted with the pin to release the clasp over the battery. I find it to be the perfect tool for this. :tu:

And it is also the perfect tool for damaging the coil in analog quartz watches while attempting to change a battery...Ask me how I know and who owns a Tritium dialed SS cased Marathon look-alike with a dead movement.  >:(

So I recently started putting a straight pin in my Tinker. Works great with a 1&1/4" pin. I tried a bead head pin and it would not fit. The head is too large for the phillips head tool. However, the bead head will fit a Spartan. The corkscrew has more room for the bead. It's amazing what you find when you start tinkering with stuff.
