tattoosteve99 - great international forwarding
on: May 02, 2014, 12:06:49 AM
OK, I have just had a really good deal with tattoosteve99 and the international forwarding service he offers.

As a UK-based MT collector I am often frustrated by all those great pieces I see on the US version of the 'bay, the rules of that site don't allow shipping to the UK (even though the amazonian site and others seem happy to send these internationally and there are also now apparently MT's readily available on the UK 'bay, but hey that's probably a debate to be had separately from here). I know there is the option to contact sellers direct about international shipping, some will consider it, most won't, and then there is the added worry of what basically amounts to a private sale from someone you don't know, without the backup and the customer protection afforded through the official channels.

However, M.T.O. is a great thing to have in your corner. Step forward tattoosteve and the international forwarding service he offers.  :salute: Steve charges a modest fee and and in return for that he gives great comms, which as we have seen on other threads recently (!) can really make or break the whole experience. He moved fast to secure the piece I wanted, pretty much as soon as I sent him the funds to buy it on my behalf. He then worked with me to get the best shipping option for my needs. It arrived today in great shape just as agreed. The tool I wanted was pretty expensive and I forwarded Steve what was, for me at least, quite a bit of cash upfront to complete the purchase, all I would say is that I found him to be completely trustworthy.

So thanks again Steve, I have nothing but positive things to say and I would recommend him to any M.T.O.'ers who are confronted (here or elsewhere) with those familair words, "CONUS only"; there is a way around it and his name is tattoosteve99.

Cheers :tu:

Nice Guy, has helped me out in the past :tu:
There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

Steve's a great guy to deal with. I've traded with him a few times. I was always more than happy with his end of our trade.

besides that

I probably wouldn't even be a member here if not for him. "long story" but very true.
