I cannot believe there wasn't a mp600 club!!

I just assumed there was and it was buried deep within the threads.
I got a fair few of them  :D , but the group shot has already been posted elsewhere on here.

Still not to worry, I'm pretty certain Chako and Greg will soon turn this into a full blown encyclopaedia all about the venerable Gerber 600  :tu:

I wanna see pictures pictures pictures and more pictures please!!

Gotta love the mp600s!!

I'm actually surprised we don't either.  I'll get some pics up in a bit, my camera is actually charging at the moment.

Nor could I.  We have the flicky Gerber club, but nothing 600-specific.

Figured I'd get the pictures rolling...

Two custom MP600's.

SS one is my 'Urban Scout' and is used for in-city carry.
BO  one is my 'Ranger Edition' and is carried in my woods kit.

I've just spent 5mins trawling back....
Pretty certain J-sews did something a while back??
Found Gareth's mp600 show off thread

But I agree, the mp600 series is so vast it really does warrant its own Club - maybe it should be made a sticky??  :pok:
I don't claim to know it all, but what I do know is right.

My three 600's.

First up is my Pro Scout, which is probably my favorite multitool.  This sucker has seen a ton of carry time and use, and has never for a second let me down.  It's my go-to tank.  :tu:

Next up is another Pro Scout.  The scissors on this one are marked Fiskars, the other one not.  Notice (hard not to) it's red and black - NJ Devils colors!  >:D  This has been carried and used, but I'm afraid of damaging the red, which is just paint.  Not that it would be difficult to patch up given what I do for a living......

And last but certainly not least is a US Army issue BO MP600.  No scissors, no saw coupler, but replaceable cutters, plain-edge blade, and one wicked serrated blade.  Great tool, this has seen a fair amount of use in my hands as well.

And there you have the 600 family as it stands right now.  I can guarantee you that there will be more in the future.  Blunt next I think......

I gifted my BW MP600 to my flat mate when he started hi rep job to keep in his van,or to dazzle any of his customers in the model shops.

It leaves me with a BO blunt nose and needle nose stainless, one of which Zed will be getting
There is no beginning,or ending, and for this we are thankful, cos now is hard enough to understand!

Still not to worry, I'm pretty certain Chako and Greg will soon turn this into a full blown encyclopaedia all about the venerable Gerber 600  :tu:

I haven't really focussed on MP600's, as the older Mr Pinchy's get most of my attention.

I do know that they came with a variety of plier heads and an even greater variety of tool loads.

Just looking at the plier head variants I think there are :

SS Needle Nose
SS Needle Nose "Archer" (special arrow nock crimper notch behind the pliers)
BO Needle Nose
BO Needle Nose EOD (cap crimper)
[ I've only seen SS EOD in a Gerber MP650, or MP600 EOD knock-offs ]
SS Needle Nose with replaceable wire cutters
BO Needle Nose with replaceable wire cutters
SS Blunt Nose
BO Blunt Nose
SS Blunt Nose with replaceable wire cutters
BO Blunt Nose with replaceable wire cutters
SS Extra long Needle Nose ("Fisherman" or "Technician")
Cable Cutters

Any omissions or errors in this list ?

I'm a big fan of the 600, the one in the center is my Scout model which I've used close to 10 years both on the farm and my job in maintenance at a food plant. The ones to the right and left of it are my backups. I'm on the fence about getting a carbide cutter version with the stories about shattering inserts. A lot of people complain about the 600 design but I would trust one with my life!

Chaco's collection is astounding!!!  :salute:

Okay, I gotta ask now... I've seen several multitools where all the tools are on the inside. Isn't it a pain in the butt, to have to open the pliers everytime you need a blade, screwdriver or whatever kind of tool you have? Of course the blade part could be covered by carrying a dedicated folder or fixed blade, but if you only carry e.g. a MP600, I can't help but thinking it would get tedious to slide out the pliers everytime.

You get use to it. When I had an MP400, I used to just flick the pliers out, get the tool out that I needed and slide the plier head back in. Its a routine that you quickly get used to.
If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck.

Exactly.  The fact all the tools on the MP400/600 are really easy to fold out is a bonus as well.
Be excellent to each other and always know where your towel is.
