Basically a light weight version. Bc of no full liner, small pocket clip and a titanium axis lock.

Hmmm. Not sure how I'd feel about no liner. But they are using a handle material I've never heard of. So probably light and strong I'd assume...

I like weight to a knife personally. And the grips are already super light.

Yea I have abused my mini grip. The full liner is why I picked the mini grip over the full size. Mini griptilian is 2.65oz. And bug out is 1.85 as info.

They sure do make some gorgeous knives, really been wanting one of their Hunt series Skinner's for awhile!!

Absolutely can't stand the Axis lock though on their flippers

I think they only have 2 flippers. Not really there MO. More of a ZT thing for sure.

But I agree. I love their Axis Lock!

Have you seen the new grizzly ridge just released in the hunt line. People are absoloutley loving them from everything Ive seen and read.

Nice Crooked river Kampfer!!

Solving problems you didn't know you had in the most obscure way possible

"And now, it's time to hand this over to our tame race axe driver. Some say, he can live in the forest for six months at a time without food, and he knows of a secret tribe of only women where he is their God. All we know is, he's call the Styx!" - TazzieRob

The ergos are stellar. There are no hotspots, anywhere. Contours perfectly. And m390 blade is always a plus! It's a tank, for sure. Siebert designs  :salute:

Excellent group of BM's Nix! Which ones your favorite.

I'm really starting to gravitate towards those Rifts. Haven't held one yet.  :tu:

That is a Rift auto...so, it's useless for me. I carried it while on active duty, but, now,......meh. However, I do have a replacement manual-opening Rift  on the way......   :tu: :tu: :tu:

I want to tell you the Osborne 940 is my favorite. I do. It's such a great knife, the perfect EDC for me. But,.....I think the Griptilian would be my "go to" Benchmade. Maybe my "go to" knife. The Griptilian is a seriously underrated knife.

That Elishewittz designed Ares is my favorite Benchmade. But it isn't a Griptilian; not really.

Great Family Pic!
Including the Inbred Cousins!

I don't know about being under rated really it seems the Grip are pretty popular where I have been?

Here are a few of mine that are not in bags waiting to "Go" or something.

I like building them too and seeing just how smooth they will fly out with a little tweaking. :gimme:

I didn't gel with the half liners on the grip, the balance didn't work for me, so mini grips get my vote.

now that the AXIS lock patent from McHenry & Williams has expired, I'm curious to see the new versions of the lock that made BM famous made by another companies.  :ahhh

Hogue has already taken the lead in that race, but if the AXIS is as good as they say I bet quite a few competitors will soon add it to their knives
Good idea that patents expire or others can share and profit from functional improvements and better mechanisms  :gimme: AXIS!
