Gerber mini Swagger
on: May 13, 2014, 09:33:22 PM
I have been carrying the Gerber Mini Swagger as my dirty work knife for over a month, and I thought Id share my opinion of it.

The knife is 16cm long open, 8,9cm closed with a 7,1cm PE blade and weigh 82g. The blade locks by a frame lock. He handle is half g10 and half steel.

Pros:
Nice size. Very pocket friendly.
Very solid framelock
It takes a nice edge
Solid constuction
Gerbers lifetime warranty

Cons:
It does not hold the edge razor sharp as long as Id like.
The blade is a little short for heavy cutting.

Its not my perfect EDC knife but it is well worth the $22 I paid for it.  Its a very solid little knife that can take beating. I have used it on everything from cutting paper in the office to shredding tarpuline tarps for my archery target and it has developed no blade play and feels as solid as when it was new. Its biggest flaw is that I had to resharpen it so many times to keep it supersharp.
