Found this one yesterday as I was perusing the interweb.  It looks interesting but feels gimmicky.

How about this one?  The tactical barrette?  Best wishes.  G

I’ve seen the barrette before and always thought of it being an ill-conceived idea.  If the “blade” side has any sharpness at all you will damage your hair and potentially cut yourself just by putting in or taking out.

At least the spinner would be somewhat useful and safe to play with.

I think Sherry nailed it with the barrette.  I can't conceive of any scenario where something like that would be useful.  Or the metal playing cards or whatever they are.
I did learn one thing.  Evidently the urge for sharp metal things is contagious.  Friend Aztec had a bad case of it, and now evidently.....?  I hope there isn't a rash that goes with that.  Best wishes.  G

I have the tactical barrette.

I wouldn't recommend it.

I suppose that means the tactical barrette is off the table as a potential gift for any of my Hollywood girl friends.  Dana doesn't write anymore.  Demi still wants to send me photos every day.  Lisa only sent a little note once.  Kind of like buying the pretty girl whose books you have been carrying a root beer float.  Casual like.  It was fun watching her slurp the ice cream and soda mix, but she still found someone else to carry her books the next day.  Probably had a sign up board.  'Stupid boy needed to carry heavy books for Carol Ann.  Temporary position.  No experience necessary.'

They have a Blue Rhino cabinet outside Walmart here.  Just in case anyone thinks I am making the Demi business up.  I never did find out what happened to the poor elephant who dug a hole for 11 hours.  Don't bother pushing the button to see any naughty photos.  It's just a photo not a link.  Nyaaa!
Is it just my imagination, or could Demi be trying to get a tactical barrette untangled from her hair?
Best wishes.  G
