i think it's a soldier around 70's, but not shure. there is no date on the tang. on the front of the blade says 'victorinox, switzerland, stainless, rostfrei'.
it has the 'WK' waffenkontrolle cross shield.

Nice collection.

That darn Alox Virus is a bugger isn't it?  A very strong virus when it takes hold, and so far, no known cure.  Although some have gone into remission, this is rare and symptoms will often return later.  While there is no known cure, though there are some products out there that will alleviate the symptoms, at least temporarily.

Consult with your local knife dealer to see if either of the two leading manufactures of these products will work for you.  Many patients have found that a combination from both the companies works for temporary relieve of symptoms.  Products are available in a range of sizes and colors and you're encouraged to sample many to find the combination that works best for you.

Side effects include a lightening of the wallet, and a fattening of the credit card bill.  Some patients have also experienced a marked drop in W.A. (wife approval) levels, though this are usually temporary.  If your W.A. levels remain extremely low for more than 4 months, please consider decreasing your use of product or discontinuing it's use all together.  Failure to take action may result in a more permanent condition known as divorce.

My W.A rating is really low and I've only got 6 SAK's! Yup 6! and no MT's!  ???

In rare cases patients have with chronically low W.A. levels have undergone the divorce procedure voluntarily.  This is not recommended as it's usually an extremely costly procedure even when forced upon a patient.  Voluntary undertaking is often more costly and has many bad side effects and is really an option of last resort.  Generally speaking the side effects of divorce are worse than the symptoms of the Alox Virus.  This procedure is almost never recommended to be taken voluntarily by an accredited K.D. (Knife Dealer)

Normal treatment in these situations is to significantly reduce taking of the product.  After a period of time (generally 3 to 6 months), a slow build up of use can often allow the patient to partially relieve symptoms of the Alox Virus while still maintaining a satisfactory level of W.A.  Limiting acquisition of product to particular days when a patient's W.A. level might normally be less susceptible to fluctuations (such as B.Day, F.Day, and Xmas) is another method your care provider may recommend.

Ha. I meant to say, it's only low in the SAK dept, other than that all is well even after 20 years of being together. She has even got a Farmer that she carries in her bag and regularly uses, but just doesn't see the point of having more than one.

It's fair enough as that extends to everything (bags, shoes etc etc)
