What is a good price for the Victorinox original Swiss Tool ?

It seems as though there is a large variance in prices for this tool.Amazon has them listed at $87.00.I believe Victorinox lists the retail price at $109.00.

I found a deal at $66.00 for a new tool.Does any member have a better deal from some super secret supplier ?

Best I have seen was $55, but that was around Christmas.

I just checked there and they have the Spirit but no original tools.They are asking $89.99 for the least expensive model.

I'm not sure I can wait for another sale.I may have to pull the trigger on this deal.

It sounds like a good deal to me. There are those crazy deals about once a year at various stores or amazon. The Spirits were selling for $45 two years ago from amazon, I think almost everyone here got at least one back then.

And yes, I also think that it was SwissOutpost on the Swisstools. They had lots of models at discount prices. Even the damascus special editions.

I'm really behind the learning curve when it comes to these tools.I bought the Spirit just a few months ago and the best price I could find at the time was $65.00 w/free shipping.

Anyway I just ordered the original Swiss Tool for the above mentioned price.

Those are both good prices.

If you're not in a hurry and are willing to wait and search for crazy deals, you'll find a good one eventually. GigaHz is great at finding those and lets us know if he does. He found a bunch of Spirits, different models, a few months ago on eBay going for $35.
