I was hoping that the 3 layer Snow Camo Wenger would be slimmer than the Wenger Ranger that has 4 layers of tools.Unfortunately the scales on the new snow camo are extra  thick and therefore the knife is slightly wider than my older 4 layer Ranger.

I am wondering the same thing. Never seen an 85mm Wenger with that  curved serrated blade before.

I see they're advertised on the Euro sites but unable to find a US site as of yet.

I'll find one.

I bet those small blades with the serrated blade and chizel grind cut like a monster on packaging and cardboard boxes.

Has anyone got experience with how those gut blades work? I was eyeing up one of the green hunters a while ago. I'd be reluctant to use a multi tool for that as you'd get blood and fur everywhere :s

I usually use my mercator folder with my finger right up behind the tip so I make sure I don't poke something I shouldn't. I've never used a gut hook before. It should open them up like a zipper.

Well they work great on plastic, rubber hoses, cables, seat belts and rabbits. But you can pull a rabbits hide off so that doesn't say much

I've been using a gut hook,in some form or another, for several years.I have a many knives with gut hooks.I also have stand alone gut hooks or strap cutters since they are advertised as such.

This is the Benchmade "cutter" in their Bone Collector series.
