Anyone carry an SAK and a pair of plier?

  Does anyone here edc an SAK and a pair of pliers to take care of the pliers need instead of carrying an SAK and an MT that has pliers?

My current answer is No, but I have considered this in the past, as I have some very nice miniature Vice Grips. That would certainly be a nice EDC setup if I so chose...

A medium pair of slip joints (6"-8") and any SAK and your good to go.
Multi-plier heads are just to narrow for many task...

I carry a Victorinox Farmer and a Leatherman Skeletool.

I do. I have found that I much prefer a sak and a pair of slip-joint pliers to any of the pliers based multi-tools I have tried. I have a older pair of Cee Tees that I carry with the sak of the day.

No.  I'm 53-years old and I can count on one-hand the number of times I needed a pair a pliers and didn't have a full-sized set in a toolbox close by.  I guess it depends on the type of work you do, etc, but for me, having pliers on my person was never something I required.
