Solving problems you didn't know you had in the most obscure way possible

"And now, it's time to hand this over to our tame race axe driver. Some say, he can live in the forest for six months at a time without food, and he knows of a secret tribe of only women where he is their God. All we know is, he's call the Styx!" - TazzieRob

As much as i wanted that cup im so proud of my countries team for a lot of reasons, mainly we are starting to revive a way of playing that we lost long ago.

Congrats to all germans, it was a great goal indeed.

Now, have something to talk about, analyzing the world cup:

I think Germany just out played Argentina. Also, did anyone else notice that Messi came off like a sour puss during the medal ceremony?

It isn't easy when everyone expects everything from you, to do more than the rest 10 men will do.
Remember, just a few minutes and we would have penalties. And Argentina played against a team that ruined everyone who spoke Portuguese, 4-0 and 7-1. They have an exceptional defence (that was rare for South American teams a while ago) and hoped that Messi could do all the rest with all German defence focused on him.
Still, Argentina made it to the final, in hostile soil, with England, Italy, Portugal and Spain going home very early. 5 wins, one tie and loosing only by the formidable Germany at extra time. They were very succesful, but people like Messi are only happy with the trophy at hand.

You should hear the grilling he is taking in the Spanish press... he's been "absent" (on the pitch) for the last year and a half, everyone said he's saving himself for the world cup, but he was hardly the best player of the tournament, there were quite a few others that deserved it more, and he sounded ungrateful for it (obviously he would have rathered the world cup vs golden ball).
The difficult we do immediately, the impossible takes a little longer.
