A word of warning about B.O.B.'s !

I have a Mexped. Fatboy I carry round town as a Manpurse/BOB , bottom line , I left in a resturant .

The staff , suspected it was mine , but looked inside anyway , in oprder to find a name or addi .

As it happened , all it contained was a lite , a Swisstool Spirit + accessories . In addition a reuseable shopping bag , spare batteries , sun screen , bug juice , sunglasses , and a multibit screw driver .

The total cash value would be quite high. If I'm going out on the trail , I also carry Bins. and a fixed blade .

Don't but anything in your B.O.B. , that you cant afford to lose , and/or readily explain .

Anyway , happy ending , I got it back .

What you carry in a B.O.B. , is a lot like what you say on a cell phone - it may come under the scrutiny of others .

For those of us who legally carry a firearm, this is a good reason not to keep it in your Man Sack.  Plus, your bag is the first thing that a bad guy will relieve you of in a robbery.   Chris, your experience is a good reminder to all of us.

Good thing you got it back. I agree with the general sentiment here, if you can't afford to replace it (or it's otherwise sensitive or personally valuable), it should be attached to the body.
