Very cool.

There is a gun manufacture,by the name of Weatherby, who allow their customers to choose African bubinga wood for their gun stocks.

Oh,so that wasn't a Hunter model to begin with.I've never seen an Orange 111 with this blade configuration.

So is this the Dual Pro X model?

Now I'm really confused.Although this nothing new.LOL

I'm answering my own question because I believe that I've discovered the answer.

This model is a Hunter XS which was the two layer model.

Cool swedge by the way !

OHT with the OD scales, OHT plain blade, Hunter XT with the green dual texture, Nomad with the black black scales. And Hercules.

I have only one grumble about the the liner lock 111s, and it is in two parts. The lock is backwards, and the tab is too small to work with gloves on. And they don't put the clip on enough models. An OHT or H-XT that I can actually close one handed in my right hand, and has a pocket clip, would retire the standard folders that I carry clipped to my pocket. Particularly if they did more with red scales.

Like? OK, it's more than just like. My Trailmaster Nero (OHT) in semi-retirement as a work knife and it's replacement Master RT with corkscrew, sewing eye awl, and it's latest scales are a more traditional SAK red with T&T, and red lanyard on 58 mm ring. Never was a big fan of the slide lock models, but the OH linerlocks are the best.  :tu: I still prefer the 91's for pocket carry and the Spirit gets a fair amount of pouch time, but for a heavy duty SAK, the 111's are my favorites so far, they are just so well engineered.  :)

I EDC'd a Rucksack for years as a carpenter, but I gave it away and have never been tempted to get another one. I much prefer the 91mm range.

Having said that I've never handled the new style 111mm Soldier and that may well change my opinion.........
