Ok for a final mod for awhile. This is going to be edcgear and he says it will be the first and maybe only custom alox SAK in Serbia. Red alox scales, brass liners. With electricians blade/awl, inline Philips/ combo tool, scissors with no cutout and toothpick and tweezers.

SAK Junior modded with Ti scales.
Not my own work, I purchased this one already modded by a member of another forum some time ago.

Shing made the clip for it. It's so small and light I've nearly lost it a few times.

Nice titanium. I wouldn't want to lose that one. Maybe time to add a lanyard to that.

I just got a sample of b&b micarta from Masecraft that's big enough for a few pairs of scales. I've always considered micarta second rate to G10 but that looks great and the piece does feel nice. I'll have to reconsider my plan to use it for vise jaws.

Structurally I'd agree with you but if done right aesthetically I think it can work well.

I remember scibeer doing some matching SAKs and pens in green micarta. They were were very drool worthy.
