I'm pretty happy with the order of the tool layers, having the scissors between the two blades means that all the nail nicks are accessible. Even the nail-file which falls in line with the joint of the scissors and once they (scissors) are fine tuned they will sit a little lower too.

The other way to do it is to flip/invert the knife blade and combo tool

yes, a little... I could probably adjust that by stoning a little off the heel of the blade tang. But the mutant was just me messing around with some parts from the junk box. Got to try crazy things now and then... you never know what you might find.

That´s about what i plan for my Cybertool, but i want to add the metal file.
Why did you choose the blunt tip knife, does it have a specific use or did you just happen to have it?

I've been kicking around the idea of a city friendly SAK for ages.I'd initially planned to either do a Cyber Yeoman,or a butter knifed Yeoman.I then realised that 2SAKs are better than one.The LiteCyber has the most used components from the CT39,and covers most uses, but stays realitively slim.Plus,in Londons ever growing knife paranoia, the butter knife is more sheeple friendly.

The Yeoman comes next.I had thought about the metal file, but while I really like it,I've never really used one!

Thanks for the insight! I tend to use a metal file when working with casings and threads, so it would be a nice addition to the cybertool as it would be teh tool to take with me when working around electronics.
I use the file on my Gerberr ATM but i think the one in a SAK will be nicer to handle in small spaces.

So after dinner tonight, the wife granted me a bit of workshop time for my first mod, so here it is. It's not bad for a first mod, but it wasn't without a few hiccups. Despite my best efforts, the scales did get a love bite or two from the drill and the combo tool doesn't quite want to close properly. Other than that, everything worked out seemingly well.

The pics look like they were taken with a potato, so I'll give a brief description: it's an orange Victorinox Slim combined with tools donated by a Mini Champ. I installed scissors, combo tool with Phillips head, nail file and screwdriver/ruler combo. Here we go:

So, I decided that the combo tool not closing properly and the peening quality bugged me enough to blow my mod back apart and redo it from the start. So I did, this time orienting the nail nicks toward the shield side of the scales (where it had been toward the back previously). I managed not to let the drill walk onto the scales this time, although by now it was a moot point. I kept the same tool set: combo tool, screwdriver/ruler, scissors and nail file. All the tools snap in to my satisfaction and the peening, I believe, is much better this go around. I think I'll leave it alone now  :P. Some new pics with my upgraded potato:
