Scales are off to powder coat black. I tried the epoxy this morning and all good. will clamp on real scales. Hoping the epoxy does not have any reaction with the brass.

Quote from: jrp316 on December 24, 2013, 02:21:03 PM How do you like peening on 58mm alox? With the help of my tools, it's quite easy. I don't peen with the hammer directly anymore.(Image removed from quote.)
How do you use those tools? Is the hammer blow straight up and down as hitting nail?

Thats a big boy! Do you find the clip still usable with it that wide? I think past 3 layers a clip isnt the greatest, but some people still want it.
A true monster in 93mm would be an expensive exercise. Building one knife with all the tools available on that size. For this you'd need knives with marlinespike and technician screwdriver. Plus a Harvester and Electrician. Then track down a Settler for the small clip point blade. oh the time and dollars.
WOW! You would need a backpack to tote that thing around.
I added a few more pics. I need to source some new scales for it though as these were taken off and put back on one too many times. The attachment point at the phillips isn't holding too good anymore. But I like those scales as they came from my first ever SAK so I might just add a drop of rubber cement there and keep them.

That makes it even more special with those scales. I would probably just go with the rubber cement to keep them
