It was a holiday yesterday... soo many holidays this month... Took advantage of it by completing this mod... It's based on a Minichamp... Just added a slotted sd combo tool... Scales are Ti and liners are made of brass... Just needs some laser graphics...

Unfortunately, I won't be able to EDC this baby for this month as I'm participating in the official modded sak challenge...


Maybe I should call it Ti Minichamp+... :think:

This has been a work in progress for about a year and a half. I just started working on it again today. Need to fine tune some things before final peening, but I'm done for today and got excited, so I decided to take a picture.

Alumnus mod. The scissors were harvested from a golfer and weren't in great shape, but I got them perfectly functional and sharp.

Anyone remember seen a Minichamp mod with just 8 same blades? I know I've seen one and I remember laughing my ass off at it...

Just looking for it, 'cause I just saw Syph's Super Fisherman a while ago and couple of those "Sixpack" models :D

I swear if I was a modder, I'd just spend all my time making those goofy crazy ones :rofl:

This is my mini 84mm Soldier with plus scales...

First video is modding Recruit to Soldier (small blade to reamer)


Second video is adding rope cutter function to the can oppener


I plan adding hex bit driver in future video...  :D

Revisited the Whittling SAK Mod I did sometime aho... Took out the metal file (don't know why I put it in the first place) and basically turned it into a Camper...


Reprofiled and gave the small blade a somewhat taper point... Supposedly good for carving tight turns...


Also gave the cap lifter tip a chisel grind...


May grind the keyring holder off if it gets in the way of carving... Will decide on this once I try it out...

That's a nice mod J-Man  :salute:

I have one similar, but it's a Recruit so no back tools = comfortable for extended whittling. The chisel tip is really useful, and I did the same to the small driver on the can opener.
