From a few months ago. I used a black alox mini champ and a silver alox classic to make a black rambler.

I had no use for most of the tools on the minichamp, and I also wanted the screwdriver tipped nail file, so I used both to make one. Also the Minichamps blades were bunged up.

Also notice I swapped the location of the blade and nail file from how they are normally on a rambler. I use the nail file more than the blade on this size knife, so I wanted it to open away from the keyring

If the trees blew down the wind and no one was around, would the alphabet song really go backwards?

My latest mod, the 93mm alox (with it's friends).
It has all the tools I wanted and pivots/screws construction. It's actually still a work in progress, since the snap is not great on all the tools and the access to some of them is not the best.
I also wanted to fit it with a pocket clip, but it's just too bulky to have it on the to of the pocket so, decided to go with a dangler instead.
So far, I'm happy with it, and today is the first day carrying it.

My first mod for 2019...

This definitely has got to be the thickest stack I’ve built... I basically mutilated my bladeless mod and added the bit driver from a CT34 and added back the fish scaler (which was still lying in my parts box)...

I present to you the Bladeless CyberChamp...

Another bladeless and in contrast to the previous from jaya_man this is on the thin side.

Not proud about the peening and I'm not sure if I'm going to fix it or not.. But it's practice before doing my 93mm expedition

Figured I would do a little group photo of my humble mods. Nothing fancy but my own mods on my kitchen table

The yellow "expedition" was the first I did and are the tools I like and use the most

After that I did a bladeless to be able to have a SAK where a blade are big NO like at the bar and other festivities and I wanted the full opening layer

Then was going to make an alox version of the yellow one but I missed to drill out the Phillips to go with the 3mm pin so out of frustration and practice I made an bladeless alox

The size and weight of the alox version is just perfect! Feels really good in the hand and for use

So here they are.. I do have some more plans, but we will se when they will be made. Mostly for fun and no real need

I have just completed this whole thread and I don't know what to say.. Just wow! So many great mods and scale work!

Lots of names that I don't recognize from before I became a member that has really done some great work!

I also realized that the mods I have done has been done before and if I just taken the time to go through this thread I would have had most of the answers that I was looking for.. Saved some pics of the tools layout for future reference too..

Took to long to go through it again but for everyone that hasn't been following it from the beginning I truly recommend it

Recently completed another mod, finally... on the thin side this time... Just can’t see some good parts lying around... Might as well utilize it..

The scissor came from an 84mm with broken backspring... A Golfer I think... For this build, I retained the stopper from an 84mm and used and combined it with that from an old 91mm scissor backspring...

Disassembled a cadet alox and swapped the opener layer with the completed scissors layer... Now I get a Voyageur...

This baby will now be my designated dress SAK for carry on formal occassions... Silver looks nice I must say...

I’ve been holding off for a while now, had some parts laying around from my mod Syph did and I figured why not make my own perfect pocket knife, so I played around with what I had, put everything on toothpicks then even found a brass finishing nail that was dead on the perfect size, only problem was I only had one, but I cut it up into three pieces and what you see works perfectly, next step would be to disassemble the other sak and reassemble it with the parts you see, just have to find the right rod,,

Took it a step further and took the one apart, then spent a good hour figuring out the best way the parts would line up and temporarily set it up..
Tools include:
Blade / Nail file
Scissors (serrated)
Philips / carabiner
Saw
Can / bottle opener
Back side:
Awl
Philips

As you can see I have a bonus part, a hex key, now I’m not big on having double parts and I could use this to replace the Philips on the back but for what?
Anyway here’s some pics
