Thinking of adding a detachable spork to the inline awl of a sak, perhaps a small collar over the spork handle?

Anyone tried adding a mod to the awl, feels like it would hold a mod?

Well, my first thought was make a wooden spork and stick the awl in it, so I'm doing that.

But, for this one it'd be nice if it slightly locked on, I have 6 sporks, I've ordered a crucible.

Very nice jph  :like:

Shame Victorinox discontinued all the combo tool 91mm SAKs, save the Compact. 😥

Hello, I have a question, where can I get these ends of rivets from the photo? I am making the first SAK MOD, and when decomposing "donors" I damaged these elements, my local service does not sell such elements, maybe you can tell me where to get such endings? in advance for the help,

The bushings aren’t sold by Victorinox or any of its stores. Your best bet is to get one from other Donor SAKs... or maybe other donors here who have extra parts laying around

Awlsome! What do you call the first one? A CEO?

 :D :D

Is the second one a Syph model? Or did you do it yourself?

Didn't really have a name for it, but I do like CEO!

And the second one doesn't even come close to resemble something made by Syph, but I'm flattered!!

This is my first post here.  I have been lurking for a few months.

Back in April I bought a damaged Fieldguide on EvilBay, which I had planned on rebuilding and using as the fob on my work key ring.  While I was lurking and learning about modding SAK's I started carrying a Mountaineer as my work key fob.  Based on that knife, I decided I could deal with a 4-layer knife, so I decided to add a saw.  With a Ranger donor, I dove right in.  There may already be a name out there for this combination, but I like Trailguide + Fieldmaster = Field Guide.

I added emerald PLUS scales to finish it off.

Cool mod Chewy... :like:

Knew someone built the same configuration and called it the Compact Master Craftsman... But Fieldguide sounds way cooler...

I plan to build a second with the same tools, but this time the saw will go in between the file and scissors.  I was so excited to get it all put together that I didn't look to see if I could easily get to the nail nick on the file.  Lesson learned.

Thanks for the warm welcome.

Ron, that's cool!  What did you put behind the large blade/combo tool layer?  A hook?  Or did you just cut short a corkscrew as spacer? :pok: :D

I did think of cutting short the other corkscrew, but Mags, who built this for me, fit in a reamer/awl. It´s recessed too deep and you can´t get it out but it´s a nice spacer.

Aceitas encomendas? Tenho algumas combinações em mente, mas ainda não cheguei à combinação ideal. Acho que não tenho jeito (ou ferramentas) suficiente para ser eu a montar o produto final...
