I'm struggling to find a good way to get a logo onto my wood scales...how do you guys get the old shield logo off?
I'm also considering making a stamp for burning it on.

I've never tried to do this myself but here is an article by Rotokid on the subject, I hope it helps.

Thanks...that looks so much easier than I imagined, you know I can't believe I couldn't find that...I looked at a bunch of articles on his site

Sure thing, All need to do is apply some kind of finish over everything now...trying to decide what would work best...if i didn't have that shield there, I think I would've used tung oil.

I just finished fixing up an old SwissChamp I got off of Ebay. The cellidor scales were pretty beat up, so I replaced them with a custom set of orange G-10 Plus scales.

Here's another bit of orange goodness. This Huntsman came out very well. The scales are almost perfectly shaped, and the toothpick and tweezer holes turned out quite nice. It helps make a great combo when paired with a Spyderco Military.
