Oooh, he's from Vic.

We don't trust their kind around here.

Plus, at this time of year, I'm sure as hell not heading south!

Rotokid's copper scales are beautiful too.  They are polished, not melted, and I believe he coats them with something to keep them from tarnishing.  I know felinevet (Tim Meeker, Rotokid's father) has one of his copper-scaled beauties and some pictures of it.

I dug around a bit on sosakonline for the picture of that one, but couldn't find it.  I stopped short of using the POS search function on KF, but I'm sure there is a pic of it in the SOSAK forum.

Small pic of it in Rotokid's shop under "Sample Mods."

The little one isn't done. I want to make a medium flat head out of the other file.
I took the saw out of the OHT.

The green one looks familiar.    Did you post it over on SOSAK a year or so ago?

It was the small phillips on the back that rang bells, I seem to recall it being a welding job.  I'm not going to even attempt to go back and use the SOSAK search function, it scares me  :ahhh

Is the watch back opener from a Pocket Pal sized frame, any reason for choosing that one over a Bantam frame watch blade and any chance of a top down shot of your knives.  Sorry for the twenty questions :)

Hi. The long Philips driver on the back was a Hucules long Philips driver welded onto a cut off hook.
The watch case opener was from a Wenger model I can't find now. I thought it was called the Matador or something.

The Red Vic was made by Scribeer. One of my faverites!

Many thanks.  Sometimes a top shot helps a lot to understand what's going on with the layer arrangements.

All of those look look like very useful mods

Here's my Friday Director.
Its one of my favourite knives as its a rare example of a Vic. muck up.     :sak:

Also it was a gift from Bob (SteelBlade) making it doubly special.

This is my new mod. I going to carry this one. A reamer is all I was lacking. I am EDC a Modded Charge, Moddes Executive, and this Vic. The Sod Buster I just ground the scales down, I like it a lot better.

I wonder why they don't sell a 93mm like that   The alox awl is something special.  That Sod Buster is particularly tasty looking, what was it like before?

  Nice work  :tu:

Isn't it odd that the alox awl is the tool that everyone particularly likes but they don't do the above SAK as a production model?  Good job on that.  :tu:

Before Mike prods me in the virtual midriff any more, here it is...

Not sure what Mike plans on calling it.  Working title was Compact Conversion, Gareth calls his a Huntsman Light though his is entirely different as it lack the nail file on the hook  :P

I was never sure about the black translucent scales but they look good there.  Nice pic of a great looking knife.  :tu:

I still reckon you should have gone with Huntsman Weight-Watcher :)

I'm not sure about the onyx either but Mike likes it and I must say it looks good on this knife.

How about Chasseur (French), Cazadore (Spanish), or Jäger (German).  All the military "Huntsman" equivalents in foreign speak.
