That is very nice, I love my OG Wave, it was my first plier based MT. It's retired now.

Great find, the sheath alone is

Those old Leatherman sheaths are in another league than the new ones ... (in my humble opinion  ;)).

In the past, I always bought my Leatherman tools with the nylon sheath, so now I have an old style Wave (in "as good as new" condition) with a nylon sheath instead of that awesome leather one that you have there (same goes for my Original Supertool).

Nice, that looks in mint shape.

I recently bought one on ebay that was 'supposed' to be mint, but was pretty beat up.  So Ive actually been using it.  Great MT, and I really like the slimness compared to the modern wave.

Beautiful OG-Wave Steve :tu:  They are great aren't they?  So I take it yours doesn't have the handle play when closed like mine?

Thanks Kyle, it's my favorite MT :D  As for handle play, it has about 1/8" of it when closed. Everything else about it is fine-tuned, just the right tension and tolerances :tu:

@Joel - yes, it is mint condition. I only paid $60 shipped on the bay.

That sounds about like how much play mine has I think.  I never actually thought of it in a measurement.  I'll have to check that out, but I'm pretty sure it is close to the same as yours.  Everything else with mine is great, just like yours.  I'm glad you really like it buddy :tu:

The scissors are actually better than those on the new Wave. I wish they'd carried those over.

If I were to change just one thing on it, I would add a pocket clip.

I completely agree.  I like the OG-Wave scissors better, and really wish it had a pocket clip.  I think that is its biggest flaw really, as that's how I carry my Charge as well, and I like that for the heavier MTs.
