5 in 1 Bushkey
on: June 22, 2014, 03:28:04 PM
Here's something I pick up awhile back from Shark Tinderbox in the UK. It's called the 5in1 Bushkey.
It's listed uses are.
1. Ferro rod scraper
2. Traditional flint striker
3. Can opener
4. Bottle opener
5. A flat bit screw driver

The Bushkey with my Izula and Altoids flint and steel fire kit.

Getting ready to catch a spark using flint and some Mikweed Ovum as opposed to charred cloth.

As a ferro rod scraper

Can opener

Bottle opener

And lastly a screw driver

Out of all that it said it could do the can opener was the most difficult but it did work by leveraging through the can lid instead of cutting but it got the job done.
It now resides in my pocket attached to my ferro rod.

Flint and steel is a lot of fun, I tried it with some sandstone I found in the driveway yesterday and was able to throw a few sparks with it before going to work.
