Hello,
New member form the UK. After years of using cheap multis, I registered to find out more about proper ones and I am considering getting a DIESEL in black. Some may recognise the name from the British Blades forum.

Welcome SLT.AMBEMC, I'm sure you'll find reviews and opinions here that will help you decide which tool is right for you. Or maybe create more indecision and cause you to spend your kids' inheritance on many tools.....

I don't know much about Gerbers myself, only having received one (a Suspension) two days ago for father's day, but some of the guys here are Gerber fans and I'm sure will answer your posts.

But I'd buy a Leatherman ;)
I used to come here a lot.

Can I ask why the Diesel ??? (not that there's anything wrong with it, it's a fine tool :))

Leave the dents as they are- let your belongings show their scars as proudly as you do yours.
Merit Badges Take part in the christmas pool or a rak type giveaway. Those wanting to say thank you for a rak may also nominate for the santa. For those who posted like a boss. Post your pocket dump photos then challenge two more members who must post their pocket dump photos within 24hrs for you to get the badge. Had a look around and found a lot of very useful info; good site!
Micky D, I read your very interesting review of the Diesel before registering! Scissors, saw, sliding jaws (I agree the half-serrated blade would be better plain but is okay) and it looks cool. I went to a shop to try one out. As it happens, it also within my budget  :)
