It's all fun and games until one of the prank victims has a heart attack and dies.
There is that to. This is a topic that is of concern to me, not because I carry, but because a lot of my friends are part of the crew that puts on a haunted house show every year. And every year, some one paid money, was told that unless you wear one of the free glow things that says "don't pounce me" you could get grabbed as part of the show, signed the waiver, and decks or shoves an actor. And they have EMTs who volunteer sit on standby for every show, in case someone does have a heart attack, or panics in the blacked out maze, or any number of things.
I mentioned the CC issue because it was asked, how would someone who is normally armed respond to something like this, and honestly it is one of the two ways this could bite them hardest- blowing out grandma's heart is the only way it could be worse. A normal person should run and call the cops to report a murder once they are in a safe place. The more I think about this, the more I want those meatheads before a judge, but my sense of humor is largely zero
