Question about Pocket Wrench 2 knockoff

I am not advocating knockoffs, but am asking if anyone has tried one of the cheap ones that can be found on the bay?  If so, how did it stand up to the real deal?  Thanks. 

P.S.  I did try the search function, but was unsuccessful.

OK, short answer, stick to the original. ;)

I got a few to try some mods on but cave it a test run before starting those to see how they worked.



After a few weeks one started developing rust. :shrug: Apparently not so stainless stainless steel. ::)



The second one didn't but came with botched up teeth. Seems they weren't cut properly or they cut them off at some stage. So forget about bigger screws. The "rusty" has very good teeth though. Original on the bottom here.




Thickness wise I was a bit surprised as I expected them to be much thinner, but they are just hair thinner than the original PW2, maybe 0,5mm at most. Original on top.



Finish on them is so so. You can tell they jumped a step or two. Original on far right.




All of them take the 1/4" bit well.

They were all made in USA?  :o

Great, now I'm considering even more to get a knockoff, just to see if I could get along with a OPMT... And I don't even need any of the functions it has.  :facepalm:
