Well this thread helped me decide on lunch today. Went with a 1/3lb bacon cheeseburger from a local place. So good! The 1/2lb would be insane of course, hence the little one.....
Does this help at all?(Remembered that I had taken a picture of the Fergburger)

Holy Cow! (Okay, maybe a little pun intended)I had NO idea this would become a popular topic. Now I want another burger. I did this to myself, didn't I?
Blue cheese just happens to be one of my favorites on a burger. I was wondering though about dried tomatoes as I just slice them fresh?
(finely cut with some black olives, melt some mozzarella on top and finalize it of with a basil-pesto in a ciabatta ).
I went to Wendy's for lunch and had the Pretzel burger and was less than impressed. The sauce they use on it just didn't do it for me.

On the dinner menu at Blamington Hall this week are Quorn burgers(sorry,my flatmate doesn't eat mammal ),basted to give them real taste, served in large field mushrooms instead of a bun, with peppers, onions, salsa and guacamole.Be so much better with a beef patty
Nothing fancy but I had a pretty Ok burger from Sonic tonight along with some chili-cheese tots.
Quote from: sawman on July 03, 2014, 01:50:42 AMNothing fancy but I had a pretty Ok burger from Sonic tonight along with some chili-cheese tots. The nearest Sonic to here is about 30-45 minutes away depending on traffic, and traffic on that stretch of RT. 46 is almost always lousy. They've been doing the same roadwork right there since I moved to NJ in 1986..... As for Sonic itself, meh. I was less than impressed. The Five Guys that's ten minutes away, on the other hand......
Anybody else like 5 Guys?
We actually do a burger special at my work. I work in a bbq joint, and we do burgers on the smoker for an occasional change. Angus beef stuffed with sharp cheddar, and the patty is wrapped with bacon. It cooks on the smoker for about an hour, then gets a piece of swiss for five more minutes to melt. Goes onto a fresh baked pretzel roll with onions and tomato. If you've never tried a smoked burger, you're missing out. It's phenomenal with our house bbq sauce.
