I just made homemade burgers.

Anyhow it was an entirely new recipe invented by myself.

Lime-Prawn-Burger

Side Dish: Avocado with Balsamic and roasted pine seeds
Burger: beef patty with lime and pepper on a sourdough bread. Prawns on top with cress and a radish mousse.

It was delicious.
Almost forgot to take a picture.

My friends grilled 'Black and Bleu' burgers last night for the 4th, with grilled sweet corn, roasted potatoes, and skewered mushrooms. Pretty frickin awesome. I would have taken pics, but I was occupied with cramming the burger in my cram-hole. :D

I would suggest freezing the patty and send it on dry ice, but have you ever filled out the paperwork involved with sending something on dry ice internationally?
But feel free to drop in and I will serve you one (I need at least 24h notice though)

I like raw red onion.
Red onions are the best!

No...

Vidalias, although general yellows work fine two. Slice them thin, add a little garlic and black pepper and saute them with slices mushrooms with a little bit of cider or stout and bacon fat, until the onions are carmelized and soft. Put that on a burger made from a mix of beef and pork (or beef and sausage), with extra sharp cheddar cheese and bacon.

If you use raw onions and they are to spicy for your guest or whatever soak them in ice water for 30min. The flavor stays intact but they are less spicy

My favorite local burger joint is the Brickyard (http://www.thebrickyard.net/).  I usually get their double stuff, with two eight-ounce beef patties, bacon, and cheddar cheese.  I get it dressed as described above, and they serve it with seasoned fries.

Made it there for lunch today...

I love that if you weight over 350 pounds you eat for free and if you don't finish your food you get spanked by the nurse.
