LM Genus!!!!!
on: June 19, 2008, 04:21:44 AM
Well, I recently ordered a LM Genus and it got here today.. I can honestly say that it has become one of my favorite tools. The pruners cut just as well as dedicated pruners: and you get all the extras like a big saw, knife, screwdrivers, and I personally like the diamond coated wrench the best! This is the first multitool that IMO is the equivalent to the real thing.. With all MTs you have to make sacrifices.. But, there aren't any that I can think of with the Genus! This thing is solid! The sheath is really cool too! I can honestly say that I have not been so impressed by a MT in awhile! Rant over!

I remember the first time I held one in my hands.  The quality and stoutness were great and the tools were top notch, kind of in a class by itself.   Still haven't taken one out of inventory for myself since they are pricey buggers.  If I had a lot of uses for one I suppose I would though, just can't justify it for what I need one for.

The solid construction is a step up from that of regular multitools. Quality is top notch too. Like has been stated before, I'd like to see Leatherman come out with a set of adjustable pliers (channel locks) based on the Genus frame.
In order to be certain of having the right tool for every job.........one must first acquire a lot of tools
