Leatherman nylon sheath served proudly
« on: July 24, 2014, 02:05:17 AM »
I got this sheath along with my Wave last year some time.  It has seen some very serious use and has served me pretty well.  I tend to keep my plier in the open and ready position so the hole on the bottom is blown out.
I keep 2 bit cards, a razor blade, safety pin, and my Wave in this sheath.  I don't know if this is the average time this type sheath should last so thanks for the good times and off to the trash heap.

Bumps.

Anyone have a clue what I do with the snap strap when I want to carry horizontally?

Can you pull it inside the beltloop and snap it together that way?

Since this post I have switched to LM Molle sheaths and haven't looked back.

As to what to do with the strap?  Maybe just slide your belt over the strap.  The button doesn't necessarily flop or hinder as the belt will keep it flat.

I think that may work. Although kind of a strange design and not ideal?

Yeah I agree.  I carry vertical but I can see the comfort and profile being nice horizontal.
