I think you can still buy this Cadet (100$) and the apocalypse Farmer with firesteel (150$) on the +B website. I think 100$ is a bit much for this, with how much I spent on alox this year, but it's such a unique piece in my collection that I really can't complain :)

Great thread! Just got my first Alox, a Cadet, for Christmas and I think I'm hooked. This great little tool has not left my side since I opened the gift. Apologies for the pic quality, I'll work on the technique as I add more to the collection.

It helps if you use sunlight for your pictures. Either outside or near a window.

It is a bit steep, but to be honest if I had the money I would probably do it.  :facepalm: Lucky for me I don't have the cash for it so its not a problem.  :D

Seriously,it gets signal pretty much anywhere,and has battery life measured in days not hours.

I did have a smart phone. There's pictures on the forum somewhere. It wasn't smart enough to run when it seen me carrying a lump hammer >:D
