I am actually not too fond of this one. It has become a safe queen, which I deplore as I like to use my SAKs. I can't bring myself to use this one.

That Wilderness is like a Harvester without opener layer. Someday I will have one made for me.

Meanwhile I´m carrying my BuSchroder (Farmer without opener layer) or, like today, my +B Carver SW.

New to this forum. I've been carrying an Emerson for about 6 years every day. However when I was younger up into my early 20's I edc'd a swiss champ from age 14 to 20 then an executive model for a couple years after that. I still love the brand and the knives. I just got into Emerson's and fell in love with their hard use capability.  I was walking around an antique shop last summer and found this gem. As soon as I seen it I knew exactly what it was. The guy sold it to me for 5 dollars. I cleaned her up and shes in really good shape. After looking around this forum i may be carrying an SAK everyday again. I miss it.

I bought a Wenger back in the 1980's during the MacGuyver craze, but quickly saw how handy these knives were. When I was in the Marines, I had a camo Tinker I carried with me in addition to my Kabar. After getting out of the Marines I kind of went for tactical knives for awhile, an even though I owned some good knives, they were just pretty one dimensional to me. On another site I stumbled upon a group of SAK enthusiasts and started reading posts and went back to carrying a SAK full time. I also started collecting them and today I have quite a large collection. I think you will find it good and bad here. Good because there are really good people here...bad because the wallet can take a heck of a hit with SAK fever.

Welcome magle!  Great to see your OC Pioneer -- one of my favorite SAKs of all time.

This.  Exactly this, Spudley.
