Ok, have I dreamt up these knives?
on: August 20, 2014, 11:37:13 AM
Ok, so I could swear I have seen these models before, perhaps just in dreams, but I digress. There are two limited models I have either seen or imagined over the past year, if they are real, they were some special release, though. I think they're either 58mm or 91mm, one is kind of like a red dual density-feeling Minichamp, though has an altered blade layout. It is a mostly plain design scale but with a stepped-up level slightly higher than other, if that makes sense. The other one may've been released at about the same time... I can't remember anything else about it, though, because the dream has faded though. All I really remember is that they were expensive for what they were, I suppose.

I have strange dreams...

I just woke up and was trying to get down what few details I remembered. ^^;

I think the scale material of the two knives remind me of the texture of the GAK and the dual density scales and along the same vein as the repurposed Nail Knife scales.

Then again, maybe it's just a random ongoing dream about ametaphorical unicorn SAK.

Not quite, I want to say they looked plain, almost to the point of "what were they thinking," almost like an artist's personal take on the design, almost like the Tomo is to the Classic. I wonder if I'm transmorphing the Tomo, dual density concept, and Snife series all together. I do at least know they were Victorinox brand.

This is why I don't need wifi and easy net access. ;)

Hey, that's my photo, with the RT Climber :)

I doubt Sazabi means those though.

Maybe they were custom 3D printed scales?

At this point, I'm not sure. I need breakfast; it is too early. The material was like the plastic of the Tomo or the rubberiness of the 111mm GAK or the green portion of the new Soldier knife. I don't think it was G10?

Table mat, fiberglass or any hobby mat that can be used to sculpture something. On the picture with the screw-drivers it looks like plastic but in others it looks more like paper, so wrapping paper maybe or origami paper.

It's not that either. By the way, I was thinking more like a tarp you would use when camping.

I'll give you guys a clue: you can sit on it rather comfortably.

And it's also not a sail. Nice ship!
