Actually that's not strictly true but the car boot sales have been a bit lacking in the basic and reasonably priced cycle department this year.

My wife on the other hand was given a bike, all right for some

anyone have any recommendations for god mudguards? none of the ones ive ever used have stayed in placed and im starting to cycle to work again and go through some woods and if it rains... well yeah you get the idea...

for those of you in the uk, do you know of any shops that offer trade ins on bikes? im getting a bit tall for mine and was wondering. If not i might just look into selling it

I dont need to carry lots of stuff with me 
My method is start riding in the morning and get home in the evening .
I can do this way, around 100-120km /day but i get extremely tired

i am currently in the process of building a new bike for 'City riding', basically a single speed 26" wheel size BMX, as my 'Track' style single speed (700c wheels) was recently semi destroyed when i was hit by a car.

i also currently have this Giant STP, but it's not much good for commuting etc. :
