Aye, and it´s a pain in the smurf to work with it when it´s stuck that way.

Or even worse when the stupid socket wont stay on. Every time you go to take a nut out, the socket and all comes off.

We've got one like that and it's more than mildly irritating. Last time I was using it was round our digester in some fairly awkward places and the socket was constantly falling off in to a puddle of smurf. I'm not entirely sure why my boss didn't bring the newer one which isn't broken, is faster, quieter, smaller, lighter, produces more torque, uses less air...

I made a bathroom more handicap Friendly at work today

Measuring with the Surgeon to place a hand rail

Trying to hook the stupid chain to the flush leaver

I had to reuse the fitting that hooks to the tank because I forgot to bring a new one. The good doctor cut through the crimp easy but it cut better with a jig saw blade than with the saw on the file. I'm glad I edc a few different types of blades for the saw holder.

It turned out nice

Better than the last handicap bathroom I did

I used the Surgeon's awl to make a bunch of pilot hoses to get the jig saw started in these plastic barrels We cut into 3 rings that we put around the water/sewer

besides that he didn't see any action today.

I swapped out the leather sheath for a cloth one this morning.

I should go back to my skinith but I want to try using all the different sheaths for the surge first.

I've been thinking more about my next tool I plan on reviewing.

I've decided I'm going to try a swisstool again.  I bent the last one I took to work. It maybe shouldn't have bent but I might have been prying to hard so it's kinda user error on my part.

after some serious thinking I should give the tool a second chance.

I'd totally be into the Swisstool as well.

JA, do you dig more the look of the BO or stainless Surge?  They both look sweet.  Right now I'm liking the look of the stainless, but I go back and forth.

Yeah since I am still fighting the temptation to buy one of these I am going to have to say I forbid this.

Maybe a nice Wave or Swisschamp review would be ok since I already own or have them on the way.

A few times a year Amazon usually has the spirit x on sale for $50 which is a great price.  Keep watching and checking there if you want to get a new one for a good price.

I have two things to say about your post.

One. You Sir are not helping.  :twak:

Two. Less posting on MTO, more making sweet Alox knives so you can get around to making mine.  :pok:

You will have plenty of time to save up for one. I'm not going to change tools until I can give the surge some extreme cold weather testing.  Maybe until spring maybe
I'm so not sure how long Im going to let this review last.

They have already begun.

The Surgeon gets packed full of snow easy but has not frozen up on me.

It's snowed here a couple of times over the weekend it hasn't stayed or been enough to pack my Surge with. I'd have had to scrape the whole lawn to get close.
