However I do not own a single machete style tool.

Not unless you fall into one of the exception categories.http://www.ebay.co.uk/gds/New-UK-Sword-Legislation-FAQ-/10000000006500890/g.htmlThis Law was indeed passed and came into effect in 2008 (England, Wales and Northern Ireland only)http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2008/2039/introduction/made

I have a feeling, that's why they've tried to market it as a machete/brush clearing tool rather than specifically as a sword to try and circumvent the issue i.e., it's not a sword, it's a machette, so therefore it doesn't apply (kind of thing)

"A rose by any other name" and all that. In all honesty I suspect it wouldn't be a problem, unless it came up in front of a Policeman in the wrong circumstances of course.
Ok, (I keep talking about my Lumi ) a guy on YT linked me to a review of the Lumintop http://budgetlightforum.com/node/32118.. where someone measured the lumens - so ... med - 28 lumens, low - 5, high - 96
Preon 2 head and a seven-mode Lumintop
The clicky on the tank ones works but doesnt feel 'right', but the lumintop is just great.
