Yet another announcement!

It's a big day for announcements, that's for sure, but guess what? We aren't done yet- not nearly!

Our own Hawkchucker and I have been working on another Multitool.org Meetup, this time just outside of Portland, Maine. We have a few cabins available to us for a good price, and we want to take advantage of it. In addition, it looks like there is both a Bass Pro Shop and a Cabelas within striking distance, so consider yourself warned!

The plan so far (and much of this is subject to change!) is for the second weekend in September. The cabins are on the shore of Lake Sebago, and there's also a swimming pool and BBQ's so there shouldn't be any shortage of activities to keep everyone amused for a day or two. Oh yeah, and a whole buttload of toys! I'll be there, as will some of the more prominent members, who I won't speak for, but trust me, it will be lots of good old fashioned fun!

Depending on how many folks get involved, we are looking at around $30/night per person. When we have more info on what's available and who all wants to go, I'll collect deposits to reserve spots for anyone interested. As I understand it, cabins have four bunks, air conditioning, full bath and a microwave, so while we can play at being bushmasters, we can relax with the comforts of home as well!

Speeking of Bushmasters......

Bushmaster Industries is right down the road. and the Company president will be staying about 40 yds from the cabins. He is my Neihbor. Anyone want to go on a tour and see the shiny new M-16s?

Sure, and we will be going on field trips. Plus we have hot tubs, wi fi, pool tables, and most of all state liquor stores.

Cabellas is 20 mins away, LL Bean 45. and the Wallmart has the 40 buck s30v spyderco in stock. Accross from the LL Bean is also the Freeport knife company. SpeSmurfpillsing in Vic. and wenger.
