What are you folks finding the most difficult part of the challenge?

For me,it's carrying the same SAK everyday, without having a choice.

It's been a long,long time since I've lacked choice!

That's it in a nutshell.  Same goes for the torch.  Much as I like the E01 there have been a couple of times already where something brighter with a better throw would have been better.
Be excellent to each other and always know where your towel is.

Day whatever we're on, part two. Used my Classic as a staple remover, cuz I couldn't find the one at work. Tomorrow, I'm not expecting no major SAK chores outside of opening snacks at the hospital cuz I'm HAVING A DAUGHTER TOMORROW!
Congrats!!!

Had my first torch fail last night. The dog was going barking up a storm last night. Which is something he rarely does. Tried to see what was going on with the Solitaire. No go. I needed something that was really bright and a lot of reach. So I used my Mini mag pro. Just turned out to be a skunk. Glad I was able to see that and get the dog out of there. That would have been a nasty mess.

Maybe with my birthyear tang stamp.

Compact did trimming duties on tags and threads yesterday. Also used the 'Monrogue Maneuver' to tighten some philips screws with the combo tool.

Thanks for the well wishes. This will be our second; our 3-1/2 year old boy is staying with his grandparents for a few days.

We were supposed to be at the hospital 45 minutes ago to check in for the induction, but received a call at 4:30 am to explain that the rooms were all full. So, we're officially on call.

Yesterday all the Compact did was trim a few stray beard whiskers and open a box.  This is really my typical day more or less.  Just proves I really don't need to carry what I do for the most part, if I were concerned with being minimalistic that is....which I'm not ;)

The challenge is still going well for me.  I fondled my MP600 yesterday though, and did feel a little sad that I couldn't carry or use it, but I'll be OK.     I hope!  :ahhh

Day 8: Ultra Minimalistic

Forgot my Crusader at home, so I went bare
Couldn't open a clamshell package (Had no scissors, no knife and keys don't work well for that :ahhh) and had to use a table-knife for the lunch-break .

No, it was a book about how to get over your anxieties, when you forget your SAK at home.

Day whatever , as the challenge starts to drag out, it has made me really appreciate a good MT " Spirit " . The minimalist just doesn't cover my work needs and frankly cost me time and money. I'm still in for the 30 days but I'll never do this again. :)

I hear ya! Running back and forth is not getting it. Luckly I have not come across anything where I would have to a MT or Larger SAK. Plus all of the hayfields are up and the bushhogging is done. That's a big plus. But I am gonna try to stick it out. Did fail the torch challenge. I just had to have a bigger light this morning.
