In a coffee emergency like you had Nate, I'd say anything goes!!

+1! I recall a time that I was so desperate I nearly stopped at a Starbucks!   :o  :D
You might of even ordered a Grande, Quad, Nonfat, One-Pump, No-Whip, Mocha!   :ahhh
My GOD!! The horror!!!

Nate

It's ok...I've stopped screaming now!

I'm noticing a disturbing trend on MTo...

Everything ends up as either:
1) :kirky:

Or

2) COFFEE
There is no beginning,or ending, and for this we are thankful, cos now is hard enough to understand!

Forgive me, for I have failed. I had to use the Surge yesterday after work. Yes I could have ran to the shop and grabbed some pliers and a phillips, but I had a weak moment and said smurf it. But in my defence, I had a coffee pot down (needed new cord) and I was with out coffee. Now I have been shot at, charged by Holstein Bulls, kicked by horses, bitten by dogs, found a dead body, stomped by cows, fell through a shed roof, watch one of my tractors go up in flames, but going without coffee. NOT! GONNA! HAPPEN!
And when I fail, it is epic! Not only did I grab my Surge, I grabbed my Mini Mag Pro and my SOG Vulcan and rocked that smurf for the rest of the day. I was looking for stuff to cut and fix. Some of didn't even needed fixed or cut, but I did it anyways damn it. And it felt good!
So today, I am back to the Compact and Solitaire. Hopefully I got that out of my system for the rest of the month.

Ok, so slight rule edit. All bets are off when caffiene is on the line ;)

At any rate, I'm still in, though nothing exciting to report.

I am still in it, carrying the Compact and Solitaire. Just had a couple of torch fails and a Multi meltdown. I am probably a little abusive with the Compact. Cutting solid wire with the blade. Battoning it to cut smaller limbs. Flexing the frame and combo tool. Been using the hook a lot. I forgot how usefully it was. The only thing I have not used yet is the Corkscrew. But I have not been messing with a lot of cord or rope. One thing is for sure, I am gonna use that corkscrew on the last day to up some wine and celebrate. ;D

I'm officially out.

Two reasons: I'm just needing more options for work tasks( stripping and rebuilding a RC controller yesterday being a case in point),and we don't have a tool box to fetch from, unless you count me!

The other reason is just as important...I'm missing the pleasure of choosing which SAK/MT/ combo to be carried, and there's just been too much bad smurf in the last week or two not to allow myself this small pleasure!

And just for the record,today is Rebar/Wenger Tradesman/iLight iO3s
There is no beginning,or ending, and for this we are thankful, cos now is hard enough to understand!

They're dropping like flies!

I have to say, without scissors and a toothpick I'm looking a bit of a mess at the moment. I didn't appreciate how unruly eyebrows and nosehair can get in 17 days!!!!!!

I should have at least chosen my Recruit with it's oh so sweet T&T. Oh well, if wishes were fishes etc.....

OK, I'm still hanging on in there.

I do have to admit to a couple of fails though; first up was the need to turn on and off a tap that doesn't have a handle, so needed a pair of pliers to grab the spindle, my Sidekick was the first that came to hand.  Secondly I had a couple of small Phillips screws that needed putting in to build up a steam mop, on of them being quite recessed, a dedicated screwdriver came out for that job.  Other than that my Golfer has coped well.

So far the Fenix E01 has done all my lighting tasks, though as I noted earlier in the month there was one night I really wished I'd had something brighter.

I do want to say this though I MISS NOT BEING ABLE TO PICK AND CHOSE EVERY COUPLE OF DAYS!!!

ahh, that's better.

I guess I don't use as much knife as I normally carry.  The small tinker is working so far.  Used it to help unpackage a nerf gun yesterday.
