Thrunite Tis kicked the bucket today
on: October 12, 2014, 12:04:10 AM
I'm not sure how long I've had this little light.  I bought quite a few and have given them out to my daughters and friends.  I had a friend the other day tell me hers wasn't working.  I made several inquiries but ended up asking for the light back so I could have a look.

My initial observations are that nothing appears out of the ordinary.  No loose pieces or parts, no squashed interior parts ( these lights can suffer from being over tightening ), battery used is fully charged, emitter looks to me intact, thread are clean, so

It may be something more complicated but for the price I'm not bummed.

Ok, I'm glad I didn't buy one as I was hesitating before....

I have 2 in daily use and so far no issues.  I asked her if she dropped it and she said no so I'm stumped.

I am really thinking about getting the Fenix EO5 SS and trying the Thrunite TI3.

That's a bit disappointing mate. :-\  My wife has my original Ti and hasn't reported any problems to me, so I'm assuming it's still going strong.  I really like the look of the Ti3 though, especially as it can be had in Neutral White.

I ordered a Ti3 to replace the Ti2 that my Brother had and lost
I've only had a little play so far, very impressed with the Ti3, slightly thinner than the the Ti2 and very bright
Everything’s adjustable
