How to sharpen a micra?

Pulling this one back from the depths, I have the same issue with my Tough Chip. Tried the internet suggestions for regular scissors to no avail, anyone out there sharpen any of their little scissor MTs? Lynn perhaps?

A piece of sandpaper on a cd (remember those? Lol), half sticking out from table ledge, then sharpen as you would a regular scissors.

I've got to give JAfromMn credit for this one...

You do about six swipes on the edge side then one swipe on the plain side. This has worked for my Style CS blade to give it a keen edge

I haven't found a great way to do it. I'm probably try the sawman-via-JA method if/when i need to.

Okay, thanks guys. I'll try these ideas out, I appreciate it. This really is harder than I thought it would have been.

There's a way to unhinge the Style CS's jaws I found on youtube; basically you work the pivot until the springs are retracted "downward" toward the handles and it lets it hinge open, then you can sharpen the blades.  Simply closing the jaws returns them to normal spring return mode. I haven't tried it on a Micra but they're so similar in design that it should work.

Small multi tool and SAK scissors I double up foil and cut it with the dull scissors. Regular scissors I use my Sharpmaker. I am still using my 30year old carpet nap shears.

I lol'd at the first line "buy a new one." In all seriousness they are so inexpensive compared to other MT and folders that this suggestion is plausible if there's no sentimental value in them.
