"Different" Leatherman Multi tools.

Despite my peristent hint-dropping, bribery, begging and demanding, there are a few Leatherman tools that I've not been able to get my hands on so far. On the whole, they are unusual in some way, or are simply too expensive to buy new within my budget at the moment.

So if anybody has any of the following LM tools and would be interested in selling or trading - I'd love to give the following a good home:

ToolVariation I'm After
Charge SLVIn good condition.
PSTOriginal riveted version
PST IIWith "Leatherman Tool" (not PST II) on the handles
SideclipPolished (not Matt) finish
Knifeless FuseIn good condition
Charge Ti        Any as long as in good condition.
Charge AlAny as long as in good condition.
MiniToolBlack Oxide.
Juice XE6Any Just after a Grey one now
Juice KF4Storm Gray
Juice SC2Inferno Red - Sorted.
Any JuiceCamo scales

Not your everyday Leatherman stuff most of it I know, but if you can help me out - I'll be grateful for the chance to buy or trade for these items.

Cheers,

Yeah, I was wondering that myself... Do you mean like a modded one? Oh, and is there a Juice with camo handles? ::)

Yup - I think it's mentioned in one of the reviews on the main site or maybe the wiki?

I actually have one, but my 12 year old daughter won't let me have it back! I gave it to her a while ago (yes she collects LMs too, with a Wave, Surge, Micra and this PST already). I've tried everything to get her to trade it back, but she won't - lol.

I've been trying to pick up another for a while, but can't find one anywhere - bloody kids.

I'll "borrow" it off her tomorrow and post up some pics - she'll probably demand royalties though - she's pretty sharp :D

Hmm, I am pretty eager to see this PST! I have never heard of such a thing! Are you sure it wasn't modded?

No it's not modded, just a very late version of the PST. I know I read about it on here somewhere, but I can't find it just now. I'll try a quick forum search.

When I originally got it, I wondered at first if it was in fact a PST II with the wrong handles, but I later found articles that mentioned that a few PSTs had added scissors. I gave it my daughter presumably before I knew this - can't remember for sure. I do remember that I picked it up for next to nothing on ebay, and my daughter did that daughter/father eyelash fluttering thing...

I can certainly arrange that - its 1:30 am here now so it'll be tomorrow!

I've been searching for the review / article I read, but can't find it anywhere. From memory, it is basically a PST II (haf serrated blade, scissors etc), but with the same handles / markings as the PST (i.e. it doesn't say PST II on it). I'll have a more thorough search tomorrow - just to prove to myself that I didn't imagine it - lol.

I used to come here a lot.

Ahh, I know what you mean now. Actually that IS a PST II, it just doesn't say so on the handles. The early versions of the PST II had the same handles as a regular PST. It wasn't until some years later that they started stamping "PST II" on the handles. :)

Ah, that's it then. It is dated 0298 so was made within a couple of years of the PST II being introduced. I'd remembered it as being older than that. Looking now it has the 'old style' phillips & medium screwdriver stems.

The picture below (sorry about the quality - the light is rubbish here atm) shows it next to a 2003 PST II.

That is a very astute observation. I may indeed have a BO ST200 that I would be willing to offload.  ;)
