Where to get replacement tweezers?
on: November 02, 2014, 08:14:45 PM
I've lost the tweezers from a couple of my SAK's. Where can I get replacement tweezers (where I don't get killed on shipping these tiny items)?

You can contact Victorinox but they charge way to much. $1 a toothpick and $2 for tweezers. Just ridiculously priced IMO.

If your in the states Ebay. Tons of sellers on ebay. I like an Ebayer by the name of Belote. Sells everything at fair prices. A authorized Vic retailer so your not getting counterfeit stuff if your worried.

Also one of the members here deals in Victorinox goods, member by the name of Felinvet.

Try SwissKnifeShop.com   or Smokey Mountain Knife Works. Both carry Vic supplies at reasonable prices.

I've dealt with this vendor and their price is not only fair but it includes shipping. How can you go wrong with paying $8.00 for six tweezers including shipping ?

Grand Prairie Knives have them. $1.25. I don't know what shipping would be. Since they'er like 5 miles from me, I can just drive over there for replacements... which doesn't help you, I know.

What about Wenger accessories? I am short a toothpick in a Wenger Clipper.

I am not sure if the toothpick or tweezers come in various sizes in Wenger, but I would like to have a couple of backups while the Wenger style is still available. I did have one toothpick that " froze"  in place in a knife and I ruined the nub extracting it. I got a replacement for that one thrown in as part of an order, but that was a long time ago.
