I bought this Swisstool with 98 plier head and company logo to see if I could remove the logo. I did an ok job with the time I spent. If I was willing to spend more time it would have come out great, I lost interest honestly and cleaned it up then in a box it's sat.
This Swisstool has the Serrated blade and Pen Blade. It's in used condition with marring on the handle ( hope pic shows ). Serrated blade need sharpening and the chisel also need a sharpen and a nick taken out. The phillips has some dings ( see pic ) the phillips works fine but yes its ugly.
This tool is #4 for me of this particular variation ( I have all but the BO versions ) so I figured it would be a great user for someone.
This tool is not for you collectors or those looking for a non user tool. It would make a great tool for someone who wants to abuse a Swisstool worry free while their precious NIB Swisstool can be safe.
Other than whats been descrbed this tool is in perfect working order and with plenty of life. GO ahead and try to break it
because if you do you have Victorinox's warranty to back up this tool.
I currently use this same model that I also picked up as another project MT but with so many things going on I lost interest in this particular one.
