Can anyone ID this?  A Vic with a bail, clip point blade, and some long impliment on it that I can't make out...

Looks like the older styled file.

Probably a golfer of some sort.  :)

What years did Vic put those on the tools?

They started putting them in in around 1952.

Merit Badges Post your pocket dump photos then challenge two more members who must post their pocket dump photos within 24hrs for you to get the badge. Must update or add a page on the Multitool.org Multitool Encyclopedia Carry an orange item and post a picture of it everyday for 30 days. Start a thread with a photo of at least ten OPT's in your collection Participate in a challenge by carrying  a Leatherman Pulse or ST200 and post a photo of it  for thirty (30) consecutive days. Start a new thread and post a photo of the Leatherman MiniTool for thirty (30) consecutive days. I have a few of those old style files, and I have to say I am not impressed with them personally.  They are too narrow to be much use for anything IMHO.  Some guys seem to love them, but that might be more because they are a bit of an oddity rather than any actual function.
