I say, let's make MTO 91mm Victorinox scales, to put them in the SAK of our choice.
Think it seriously.  :gimme:

Grant mentioned this to me awhile back, and the wheels have been turning with ideas.  I'd for sure like to be involved with making a forum SAK.  The amount of awesome would have to be decided by vote I think, based on what people would be wanting to pay.  Making custom scales is going to be the cheapest for sure, but a full out Ti scaled and brass liner SAK with MTO engraved on it would be killer.... :D
PM me or email sakmodder [at] gmail . com if you are looking for custom SAK work.

Definately... wondering how many people I'd have to kill to afford one  :viking:

How much are the printed nylon scales or printed regular scales? Would that work?

I'd not mind nylon plus scales with an inlaid shield instead of hot stamped on a 91mm Waiter or a run of MT.O blue Pioneers, bonus if we had some plain blue Pioneers left over...

I think just scales are the best choice.. cheap and can be used on anything... don't think many of us edc a Spartan (I actually have a Tinker on me, to be replaced wirh a Compact ASAP :P ).

Just some nice, interesting Plus scales... but something uncommon, StayGlow or Micarta or Amber/Apocalypse Green or some crazy custom 3Dprinted-shape... something cool and unique...

Ow and no wood/metal... these are pain to mount on saks...

I do like the Idea of scales very much.
Although a Syph MTO knife would be Killer, it would be out of reach for me. Scales should be affordable for each of us.

Off topic, but on a related topic: Corwyn, I hope the Compact arrives soon - I would ahve thought it would be in your pocket by now. Let me know if there is anything I can do.

Me too.  Normally a package from Germany gets here in maximum 6 days, this time it even missed my nameday (good thing my girlfriend got me a guitar instead to play around and annoy the neighbours  >:D )... If they didn't give you a tracking code all we can do is wait and pray that some postman somewhere isn't using my Compact to fend off guard dogs...
