I think I have ,I use them all tho and I'm sure I can remember in that old gobblers shop a couple of years ago , what looked like a four layered sak with back side Philips in the corner of the window. Hope it's still there, might get if for a good price.

Normal heck. He thought about buying instead of just getting two, you know in case you need a backup.

Not to mention his wife actually knows about how many SAKs he buys.

Good idea I might get 2 I've been wanting a hunter for ages as I've only got 3 111s , a rucksack a equestrian that has been my farm knife for years and a rescue tool that my better half got me from a holiday in Portugal  which I've never used,I nearly collapsed when she gave it to me as she thinks I'm strange with my interest in saks.

Thank God, you're in the right place to solve your so-called problem

Leaving The Almighty aside for a while, you'd be surely interested in some thoughts about so-called problem and problem itself, that might just cheer you up, as it seems you're burdened with a guilty conscience :o :D
First of all, if you know the issue (and you know it :D ), and if you're able to solve the issue in question (it seems you're more than able to do it :D ), then the "problem" doesn't exist at all >:D
So, as you already know, if something doesn't exist, it can't go worse >:D

But, unfortunately, as far as I can see and I'm sorry about that, you're going straight forward into the real problem, hunting a 4-layer SAK with no corkscrew :ahhh God help you ...  :D

I can help you feel better. Does your dining room table look like this? No? Then you're fine. Mind you, this isn't a shot of my collection. These are knives I need to get rid of.

Those little gremlins multiply.  I keep telling myself I'm not a collector of SAKs but I keep buying them too.  Have fun.

There's no problenin having a lot of SAK's. It's not like collecting bottle caps or stamps, where you have a lot of money tied up in something that is basically useless. Andnot only useless, but it's almost impossible to sell off a bottle cap collection or beer can collection. They just take up space until you decide to throw them in the trash when you quit collecting.

Bit with SAK's, everyday, you can pick one to carry, and for that day you will have a knife with some tools on you in case of one of those little life emergencies that pop up when you least expect it to. You can actually fix something with a SAK. Try that with a Argentine postage stamp.

Don't get too serious, just enough will do.

Not to mention at some point you could sell some or all of your SAKs for ofter more then what you bought them for.

Really you could.

Welcome to the Madness!

There's virtually never a day where I don't have either a Farmer or Pioneer in my left front pocket. It's just too darned handy and useful. I always have my old, battered Leatherman classic on my belt and usually a traditional pocket knife in the right front pocket too, but the SAK is pretty much a part of my pocket kit.

I havent bought any more saks for myself but I have for gifts for my family for Christmas.I've been off work for a while with a trapped nerve so had time to think a lot about the saks I have ,and realised my most used saks have been my swisschamp and my camper.ive decided to retire my camper as it was my grandads  and mainly carry my trusty sc as its served me well so far and still get that same feeling as I did the first time I saw one in a shop display as a child.ive ordered sum more plus scales for it as its been wearing standards for years
