I've encountered rattlesnakes, skunks, wild boar, blackbear, and angry bucks in rut. The most devastating creature we've encountered, though, were ground squirrels that completely devastated one of my friend's pack on a hiking trip. Ripped the living smurf out of it to get to a candybar wrapper.

And they are unstoppable by any force known to man... except fermented pumpkins.

Sure, I can see the funny side.

But there are a few things that bug me.

Not only does he cut the rope

but he only cuts off about a foot, why?

He makes a ladder out of sticks that break easily.

Smacking the carabiners together

and then tightening with pliers.

How does he get down?

Warm beer, is he crazy?
