It has to be a time we can ALL do.  Wouldn't be the same to be a man down.

We organised it before, we will do it again.  ;)

I'm actually think about aproaching some farmer's and asking if we can practice a little ''bushcraft'' so we can have a proper fire :)

Nez,

Would be great to have you along.  I am interested in seeing your tattoos and the MT you carry.  It'd be good to hear your para stories as well.  I have trained with some of them just last year in a CBN course and we could compare notes.

Well I had the choice of the Army Air Corps, the RAC, either of those would have been cool, but I was starting to lean toward joining the Green Jackets :)

Outstanding pictures and conversation guys. I'm enjoying every post in this thread. Makes me feel like I was there - makes me wish I really was there even more! What a great time it seems everyone had.  :)

And look at all those knives and tools! Incredible! I see a couple items there that passed through my hands....guess that's the closest I could come to actually being there myself. Thanks fellas!

In order to be certain of having the right tool for every job.........one must first acquire a lot of tools

Thanks all!!!

I have enjoyed this thread. I can only imagine how much fun it would have been to have been with you. I almost get all misty eyed just thinking about cooking chili on a camp stove and using a corkscrew to open wine. Then battleing the elements and sleeping on the ground. Then for iceing on the cake you get to play with knives and multitools.

I will admit that I use two sleeping pads under my bag because I'm big and I sleep on my side, plus my favorite camping spot is pretty much all rock. That ground looks pretty soft compared to my last few camp sites. I liked all the photos, but I think my favorite was the one with the golf flag.

Thanks again for shareing.
